| I only had this cassette once and then i lost it. (damn me and my luck) I loved every song though. The mix here for "I'm So Excited" is different from the Break Out album. It's a good mix though. "See How The Love Goes" is a favorite of mine. It describes how her friends' man comes to see her and she's wondering how he might be in bed! Yeow very deep here man, but i guess that's how it goes sometimes. I've been there many times hee hee "All Of You" is very upbeat song done very well by June. Her vocals are very strong here and her sisters back her up well. "Heart Beat" (don't know if that's the right spelling but you know what I'm talking about) Is a very cool song by Ruth. I just love her deep vocals. This is a good song for after you and your man have a fight about something. You can play this to him and maybe afterwards you can get to the loving ha ha ha! "If You Wanna Get Back Your Lady" is another strong on by June. It gives advice to the guys about how to treat their ladies or how to get them back after a fight. Very upbeat and danceable, in fact the extended mix is on the Greatest Hits (1989) cd. I reccommend that one. "I Feel For You" is the Prince song Chaka Khan did. The girls take this one all together and you can bet they tear it up. It's very robotic but as the end nears they start adlibbing and it sounds cool. I think they could made it a hit if Chaka didn't come along and really make the song a classic. But this is another glance at a great song. "Heart To Heart" June again with another upbeat song. It's very 80s with the lyrics and beat. Makes me wish for the old days. ha ha "American Music" is a fine song from Anita that reallys makes me feel patriotic about my country. It details how the music still makes people feel good and has an old feel to it. Timeless Overall this album is great and the songs are classic. I especially love the dance tunes! This didnt get much attention though. But among their fans it's a classic find. I especially love the cover and back photo to this album. It makes them seem like a fun family. |
