| This one was a good album although the material WAS a little boring but Aretha shined through and a couple tracks. I especially love the chit chat on "Every Girl (Wants My Guy) Very cute. And the remake of The Temptations "I WIsh It Would Rain" My mom loves that song. I had only heard "Get It Right" from the Greatest Hits (1980-1994) album and never even knew about the song. So I decided to order this album and loved it from the beginning. I also loved how they extended the song to about 6 mins. very cool, be cause I just wasn't satisifed with the radio edit on the Greatest Hits. I know everyone talks down her Arista period but I think they did an ok job. Although nothing like Atlantic. Aretha had to explore and go with the times. And I think she did alright! |
