My name is Elany Manske. I'm now 53 years old. The year is 2001, November 18. I would like to tell you a real life story. It was June 5, 1990. I was going into Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur'd'Alene, Idaho for a routine physical. I worked in Automative repair and it is mandatory to have a yearly physical. I had been one of the people that had got off easy. I hadn't had a physical in over 3 years. I knew everything I would go through. Today was just like every other physical I had ever taken. I knew I would be found in relatively good shape. However, an x-ray of my lungs said something different, there was a dark spot found in my left lung. I started to laugh. I had had lung problems since birth. I was a full term baby weighing in at 3 lbs., and only 13 inches long. My left lung was not developed completely. A condition called dysplasia. From birth my family was told I would suffer from asthma which I did and I still have. In 1979, at 21 years of age, I was diagnosed with emphysema. So the x-ray would naturally show a dark spot. However, the doctor disagreed with me and scheduled me for a series of tests to conclude what was wrong. A biopsy was ordered. Results malignant Cancer - Not just Cancer but 2 types. One was a fast growing type, the other slow growing. One type wa small cell differentiated Carcinoma, the other was Alacoma Carcinoma. whatever the types made no difference to me. I couldn't and wouldn't believe it was happening to me. It took five other doctors, plus the pulmonary oncologist that I had seen since I was 12 years old, to get me to believe. It worked. I had no choice but to believe now. All I knew is I had 3 children to raise. Now I wasn't going to get the chance. Death is all that faced me. The doctors all told me I had to start a regime of chemo and radiation, which I started on the 27th day of June, 1990. I went every 10 days for radiation and chemo. So much so that I had a Brovac placed in. I took chemo and radiation until the 1st of Sept., 1990. I went to have a test run to see how I was progressing. This was not the case found. It had actually spread. I was to go for surgery Sept., 15, 1990. I had the lower lobe of my left lung removed. Then to continue chemo and radiation. I was trying to work and trying to raise my children alone because their Dad and I were going through a divorce. The chemo and radiation were killing me. I took chemo until June, 1991. I stopped. The medical profession went nuts. I had to be crazy for quitting. I just couldn't take anymore pain. I was dying. I was not improving. I was now facing the fact the cancer had spread. It was no longer life. I would rather die and have no side effects than to die with them. It was my choice. I saw a woman, who at this time will remain nameless. She had worked with a M>D> for a long time and knew the odds and the ropes. She did tests on me to discover that my body had cancer in 3/4 of my body. These tests never hurt. So I was skeptical, it made no sense. I laughed right out of her office, only to be diagnosed by the medical profession 3 days later, that I had cancer in my liver and lymphatic system also, it was now in 3/4 of my body. The tests that were given for this diagnoses were painful and long lasting, but had the same outcome. My CEA was 85. I went back to the woman who started me on a regiment of HERBS. I took herbs to detoxify me, then to deep clean me. I had to fight the chemo before I could fight the cancer. I went on a program which has been written on a separate paper as to the amount I took and what I took. There was a change of diet. I now had new hope. Life changed for me. I was remarried and living a life again. I was told my the medical profession if I didn't start up my chemo and radiation again, I would not live to see my 34th Birthday, which was only 3 months away. I never went back for chemo or radiation. I have stayed with my herbs. I feel wonderful and have a full head of hair. I contribute my remission to herbs, the love of a good man and Jehovah God Almighty. At the age of 37, my CEA showed 1 1/2. Just to see the difference, I went off my herbs for 3 months, had another CEA taken and it wa now up to 6. I stay on my herbs now. I will continue with check-ups, but I won't go off herbs, NOT UNTIL MY BODY SAYS WE ARE CURED. I've endured hardships from Chemo and Radiation. It's not something that just goes away. It stays with you until your body gets rid of all the chemo it can harbor. These hardships come and go and because of my experience, To All Of You, I Pray, THINK WISELY BEFORE YOU ACT. Considering what they told her in 1990. I think she is pretty lucky to still be here with us.
