                   Literary Term Project Instructions
                    Date Due:  May 26, 2008
NO LATE PROJECTS WILL BE ACCEPTED

This project will be a valuable resource for both studying for your exam and for learning to recognize and use  the literary devices used in both literature and film.  In order for your grade to relect its worth, be certain to follow the guidelines explicitly.

While studying certain works of literature, you will be assigned term pages to complete for the project in class and for homework.  These pages will be assessed, graded, and returned to you to revise and place in your final project notebook.

     1.  SAVE YOUR WORK ON A DISK, IN MEDIA LAB FILES, AND EMAIL IT TO YOURSELF AS AN
ATTACHMENT.    This may save you future headaches.

     2.  This project MUST be typed.

     3.  The final project will include your handwritten, roughest drafts, your typed rough drafts, and your final  drafts.

     4.  All examples must  be taken from texts you can physically show me if I ask to see them.

     5.  Create and
original, creative, sturdy cover with your name, class period, and date on it.

     6.  Arrange the pages in the same order as they appear on the original table of contents (above).

     7.  All pages must be numbered in the lower righthand corner and have your name in a header
in  the upper righthand corner of the header

     8.  Use only one side of each piece of paper .  (On final draft you may put
two sheets back to back in a sheet protector if desired.)

     9.  You
must write in COMPLETE SENTENCES.

    10.  Use the following page layout for each of your terms:
