Well there's the obvious here of just throwing in your favorite color/flavor of jello into a Brain Jello Mold... OR
2 tablespoons of unflavored gelatin 1 can (29 oz.) canned peaches in syrup 1 cup milk 1/2 cup heavy cream 6 tablespoons peach flavored syrup *For Bleeding Brain*: 1 can rasberry pie filling
1. Prepare the mold by following instructions on mold pkg to oil the mold and place in bowl for stability (may need some small towels to get it to sit evenly & stay in place) 2. Pour milk & cream into small saucepan & sprinkle with gelatin. Whisk the mixture well, then let sit for 3 minutes. Place pan over medium heat & bring to boil, whisking frequently to ensure that gelatin dissolves. Immediately remove pan from heat, pour contents into another bowl & let mixture cool for about 20 minutes. 3. In a blender, puree remaining ingredients except for rasberry pie filling. 4. Pour puree into cooled cream mixture & stir well. 5.***Pour half of mixture into mold if making "bleeding brain"*** If not pour all of mixture into mold & refrigerate & you are DONE. 6. For Bleeding Brain: Chill until set, but not firm--about 40-50 minutes. Remove mold from refrigerator. Carefully spoon rasberry pie filling into the center. If you want you may scoop out a small space in jello before adding filling, but don't scoop too much or effect will be lost. 7. Stir remaining jello mixture, then carefully pour the rest of it into the mold. Chill until Firm--about 4 hrs. 8. To Unmold: dip the bottom of the mold in a bowl filled with hot water, taking care not to let water into mold. Dipping the mold for a few seconds helps loosen the gelatin from the mold. Remove from water & wipe dry. Place a serving platter over jello mold and flip over so that brain jello will be on platter. Carefully remove mold from jello.
