You picked me up, and made
all my Boo Boo's well.
You tucked me in each and every night.
When i was ill, You held me tight.
You tickiled me until i cried.
I felt my world had ended
The night you died.
The most important man,
I looked up too all my life.
He Served and Protected,
Not just his family but his Community too.
This wonderful man , My Daddy.
His eyes, the deepest blue, you'd ever seen.
His words Stern, When I had done wrong.
His Hands, rough from hard work.
I took him for granted ,
Thought he would always be here.
Oh what i would give for a hug,
A kiss on the cheek,
Or to just tell him I Love him and miss him.
He was more than my Dad,
He was my best friend too.
He stood by me through thick and thin.
When times got hard, he lifted my chin
And said " All would be fine"
Daddy was right, because it all worked out fine.
Now he's gone, nothing left but pictures
and memories of our happy and sad times together. He is not hurting anymore, He has left this mean cruel world.
I Love you and Miss you Daddy
I only regret not getting the chance to tell you before you left.
