This rumor mongering is more of the tactics SSTDC and the Mills has used all
along. John Rogers
a long time lackey of the Mills Corp. is now stooping to the spreading of
outright lies about both the Mayor of Weymouth,David Madden, but also about
COMPARE Inc. As the president of COMPARE Inc. and as a citizen of Weymouth ,
I can only say that I am insulted by both, Mr. Rogers remarks and by his
apparent ignorannce. Perhaps the man who some months back accused the good
citizens of the tri-town area of not reading the papers, and other sources
of factual comment, has reached the depths of libelous invention in order to
maintain the strangle hold of his beloved Mills Corp. on the future
development of the Base.
On behalf of my constituancy in all foyr affected town, and especially on
behalf of the citizens of Weymouth, I demand that Mr. Ward bring forth
factual proof of this allegation against our Mayor,
or deliver in this paper a SIGNED apology  to the Honorable David Madden,
The people of Weymouth, and to the citizens of COMPARE Inc. whose position
has been stated publicly since its' founding
Many years ago my father told me, "if a man has to lie to you to sell his
point, then whatever he's trying to sell you is as worthless as he is!!"
