Just A Dream

Where am I? I can see myself, but what's going on here?
This cannot be real, all my thoughts turn to fear.
Suddenly, I begin to recognise where I am, as the image blurs,
A tall, handsome figure before me moves and stirs.
I know where I am now, the 4th Kingdom; Wendell's land!
And here is Wolf, charming and sweet, ready to take my hand.
He flashes a smile, my senses go weak.
I get so lost in his eyes, I cannot speak.
We talked, for what seemed like hours, of nonsense and more.
Countless subjects, like meat and jokes galore.
It all seemed so real, I didn't want it to end.
When Wolf is with me, he is my true friend.
But then, I hear a voice calling out to me somewhere far away. "Please don't
go," Wolf begged and pleaded, "instead, why don't you stay?"
He held me close, and were in a loving embrace.
But I open my eyes to find my dog in my face.
I snapped back into reality, was this all just a dream?
But, no way, I really did see him. So what does this mean?
I must be watching too much of this movie, something I must admit.
I might be overdoing it, this obsession, just a bit.
My alarm clock wails as the Cover Girls sing.
I can only imagine what tonight's dream will bring......???
