Dear Nomads,

Another year has passed  and once more I am writing to ask for your support for the Lichfield Nomads 50 Club Prize Draw. At a national level, with the euphoria of the Ashes success, interest in cricket has never been higher. It's good to know that cricket at the grass roots level is also in good health but like many small clubs it is always a challenge to match revenue with expenditure. (That's the Gordon Brown bit over!)

As I'm sure you know, the funds generated by the 50 Club play a vital part in ensuring the financial survival of the club, so it is important that we sell as many numbers as we can over the next few weeks and your support would once again be appreciated.

The 50 Club is about to start another 12 month run of prize draws and I hope that you will join in the 'fun' and participate with your hard earned cash.

As in previous years, there will be 12 monthly draws commencing in October. Each month there are 2 prizes, the first prize is £15 and the second prize is £10. There are also extra 'free' draws at Christmas (£50) and Easter (£25).

The cost is still only £1 for each monthly draw or £11 for the year in advance.

For your information I have enclosed a list of this year's winners on a separate sheet.

I have also enclosed a form that you can return to myself to confirm the numbers you would like to take up for the 2005 / 2006 draws.

As usual, you can keep up to date with the results on the Nomads web site.

Please make any cheques payable to Lichfield Nomads C.C. I am happy to accept cheques at the Annual Dinner, at the AGM or by post.

Also, if you do not want to take part please let me know so that we can free up the spare number for someone else.
