We love our Nimble 20. It looks great with the yawl rig, tanbark sails
and the green hull. Our boat is an early model which we had upgraded
at the Nimble factory in 1999, and they did a fine job on the work. The
boat is easy to sail and singlehand, and it sails flat enough to keep
my wife comfortable most of the time. The interior is roomy and we have
the sink option for easy freshwater access. We use the 16.5 Bruce
(imitation) anchor mounted on the roller. I found a guy who makes "deck
turtles" in the red/tweed Sunbrella used by Nimble, and we use this neat
unit on the foredeck to stow anchor line and chain-very convenient.
Killybeggs is not real fast, but we're not either, so we match up well.
The Ted Brewer design is excellent, and the Nimble factory quality is
first rate. Overall, the Nimble 20 is outstanding. |
