Command & Conquer: Generals

I bought the game on Feb 11, 2003, Tuesday @ 1700h in Robinsons, Ermita, from a shop named 'Datablitz'.

Command & Conquer: Generals

This page is dedicated to the recent launch of Westwood's latest Command & Conquer series, C&C: Generals, launched worldwide on Feb 11 [Feb 10 in US]. In a few updates to come, this page will be filled with data about C&C: Generals, from game description and specifications to screenshots taken when I'm playing the game.

The system requirements of the game are as follows:

Minimum System Requirements (Taken from the C&C: Generals Manual) [Solo & 2-Player Multiplayer]

Recommended (Solo & 8-Player Multiplayer)

The box consists of:

Installation was hassle free, no need of cracks 'cause its the original version. I experimented it and burned a backup of the game to 2 cd-rw medias, and voila, it worked. :) Bear in mind, for experimental purpose I burned a copy of the original. I wanted to see how powerful the program and how it can copy protected cd's and make them readable, just like the original one.

GLA (Global Liberation Army) Screenshots

Command & Conquer: Generals

The GLA has the special ability to earn money while it successfully defeats an enemy unit. This ability is earned through general experience points gained during battle. (Like Diablo II, you gain experience when you defeat a demon). Infantry being killed by the quad cannon tank.

Command & Conquer: Generals

The Scud Launcher fires scud missiles on target from afar. The Scud Laucher can be set to equip either with high-explosive scud or anthrax filled scud.

Command & Conquer: Generals

GLA Base being established

Command & Conquer: Generals

GLA army being constructed, consisting of quad cannon tanks, scorpion tanks and the all powerful Marauder tank of GLA.

Command & Conquer: Generals

Marauder tanks gain upgrades thru picking up scrap (destroyed tanks) left behind, thus getting from single barrelled to dual barrelled. Marauder tanks shoot red when they are of 3 stripe rank

Command & Conquer: Generals

China vs GLA on the last mission. The mini-nuke explosion launched by the Chinese Nuke Cannon. Earning money through destruction of chinese army.

Command & Conquer: Generals

Nuclear cloud suddenly appeared when I destroyed the ConYard of China. (I only used GLA Scorpion tanks and Quad Cannons with some Marauder Tanks, and all of these are not nuke-upgraded) [GLA has no nuke upgrades btw.]

USA

Command & Conquer: Generals

USA's special weapon, the fuel bomb strike, destructive like nuclear without the side effects of radiation. Delivered via air.

Command & Conquer: Generals

Scud Launcher Storm (GLA Superweapon) being destroyed by batch of humvee (garrisoned with Missile defenders and Rangers), batch of Paladin tanks, Crusader tanks and F-22 Raptor air strike.

Command & Conquer: Generals

Testing out the Cannon strike capability of the comanche. Fires a barrage of rockets at a specific target zone. Instant death to anyone who passes.

Command & Conquer: Generals

The experience stats box where the general (read: YOU) spends his earned experience points for special tactics/units/reinforcements.

Command & Conquer: Generals

A mass of crusader tanks and humvees' garrisoned with missile defenders and rangers attacking a GLA base.

Command & Conquer: Generals

Structure goes boom!!!

Command & Conquer: Generals

Couple of humvees' destroying a GLA building. 2 humvee's are capable of whacking a small group of tanks provided the humvee's are loaded with missile defenders and pathfinder infantry.

Command & Conquer: Generals

Humvee's destroying 2 GLA technicals.

Command & Conquer: Generals

The USA Particle uplink cannon is the superweapon of the former. Like an ion cannon, it operates differently the fact is its destructive on units and some buildings and it's beam can be moved about like a laser cutting through a metal.

Command & Conquer: Generals

The GLA hole explodes!!!

Command & Conquer: Generals

Final USA mission, got the tech of China and tested out the Chinese nuclear missile.

Command & Conquer: Generals

The nuke cloud comes up......

Command & Conquer: Generals

BOOOOOOOOOOM!!! Instand building demolition and infantry burner.....
