noma began in the summer of 2000. it consisted of kevin levi erik and matt and lasted awhile until after months of dealing with matts super cool dad came to a cataclysmic ending and matts departure from the band. local band whore ian started playing and things looked good. a decent demo was made that we did nothing except pass out a few copies of and for the three weeks we could play shows before ian slaved away at the local opera house for two months. during those two months we did nothing. kevin became a gimp. levi started another band. ian joined a pop punk band from flint and moved. erik drank. noma was done for. sad days lay ahead. that is until almost a year later when troubled times came down upon levi and kevins new grindcore band, there is no adam west, then out of the blue it dawned on us...lets get noma back togethor. droping the zero of a bass player from adam west and getting with the hero of a bass player in erik and having branden minnear play drums, noma is now a half functional band semi-on-the-way to being a machine of pure hardcore fury once branden learns how to use his double bass pedal. oh yeah.
holy shit turmoil and distress rocked the rockers in the rockin band noma when out of nowhere(or at least out of the barn where new equiptment awaited a band who no longer need to mooch off of noma) singer levi quit to pursue the rock n roll dream with his other band. after a night of drinking and beating up homeless midget bums and their babies, we decided to have sweaty B talk to his pal from school. after severaldays of long contractual debates, noma finally agreed to have nick join the band and add his growls spawned from the depths of hell (conviently located in his throat) to the ever encompasing machine hardcore fury known to the world as NOMA! fa shizzle dizzle.
