Alright, some pictures of Edinburgh. It indeed deserved the title "Prettiest City in Europe". Perhaps I didn't do justice as the pictures I took ain't that nice. But hack, at least I tried.
A shame that I was alone for this trip, didn't have a guide, so I really don't know what most of the things were.
I just took a picture of whatever I think is nice.
A lot of old buildings actually have a clock on it, like in this one.
A view of the 6th century castle. The Edinburghers are really proud of their rich history. Well preserved yeah?
Traffic and parking is really horrible in the city centre, just like orchard road, if not worse.
Don't know the name of the palace, forgot already. But part of the palace on Calton Hill.
Like roman empire eh? Still on Calton Hill actually.
To bore you out, I am still on Calton Hill.
On Calton Hill also, but looking down to the city centre this time.
Well, I think you can guess where is this view from by now, yes, Calton Hill.
Actually same as previous pic if you look carefully, dunno why I put this in, but lazy to remove now.
Ok, finally off Calton Hill, now a view of some of the older houses around the Castle.
Yes, finally the castle, pretty and mighty on a hill yeah?
I love this one, I think it's one of the prettiest I have taken, yes, the castle.
Night view of the castle
This is leith water, a narrow water way which drains Edinburgh. Edinburgh is considered on highland anyway.
Some housing alongside leith water, nice view, and I think should cost a bomb too.
Took me great pains to take pictures along leith anyway, It was drizzling and muddy and there were some fallen trees from the 90 knots wind blocking the paths.
Still in the leith part, well this is actually the max I can go, the ahead path is too watery and muddy and dangerous too. Like the river rapids.
Pretty houses again.
The note will end with houeses now. Nice city huh? I love it.
