| Materials 1 2x2x10 ft long. square tubing. welder A blow tourch 2 pieces of 4x12 metal. 1.) Take the 2x2x10 tubes and blow tourch 3 foot off the end. Cut the 3 ft. piece in half so it makes two 1 and 1/2 pieces. Now the main piece should be 7 ft. This will be your rail. 2.) Now take the two 1 1/2 rails and weld it 6 inches going in on both sides for supports. 3.) Now take the two 4x12 pieces of metal, and weld them right in the center of each support. Welding and blow tourching Should only be done by an adult. Your rail is complete. Spray Paint adds a nice slick top for your board. |

| Materials 3 2x4x10ft long 2 2(inch) diameter PVC pipes(10FT Long) 6 2 1/3(inch) long wood screws 4 2 1/3(inch) Bolts with nuts nails drill hammer 1. Take one of the 2x4's and the PVC pipes. Tape the PVC pipes on the 4(inch) side of the 2x4 , so the rails won't move while you're drilling the screws through the 2x4 and the pipes. 2. Put the thing so that the pipes are on the ground. Then drive 3 screws in each pipe starting in the 2x4. The screws should be placed : one in middle of the 2x4 and the other two about 2(inch) from the ends.Then drill a hole at each end making sure that u can fit a wrench to tighten the nuts. Insert the bolts in the hole and tighten the nuts. This will make it more durable. 3. Nail a 2x4 to the 2x4 with the rails. Cut two 2x4's about a foot long and nail them parallel to the bottom 2x4. This will give your rail support. Then nail the rest of the 2x4's under the other 2x4 so your rail won't bend. If you want to make the rail higher, just put more 2x4's under it. |
