I send this greeting, this hope

      during this tragic week

Remembering the day

      when building fell

      lives ended

      society grieved

This week, besides grieving our loss

      celebrate the happy memories

      connected to these dates

It’s been four years since your first date

      a night of anticipation

      of nervousness

You guys have grown

      through adversity and pain

      with intensifying love

My hope for you is that you will feel

      the anticipation of a first date

      every day of the year
