| Brethren, Since the Hurricanes Katrina and Rita in August, 2005, many of the blue lodges and appendant bodies have either moved away, merged with other lodges, or surrendered their charters altogether. There are certainly exceptions to this situation, most notably Arthur M. Retif Lodge # 473 , F&AM in Jefferson, LA and Jefferson Lodge # 191, F&AM in New Orleans, both of which are experiencing positive growth and development. As I learn of the changes that occur, I will note them on this website.
