now at the turks, london road, reading. about fifteen minutes walk from the railway station. head towards the bugle but take a left instead of a right down friar street. at the town hall bear right towards the post office and downhill onto duke street. continue across the major road, up london street, and take the left turn onto london road. the turks will be on your left hand side. parking is very limited but can be found on nearby streets, bikes can park out the front.
the bugle is situated on friar street, between whsmith's and friar street bookshop. it is an old wooden-beamed public house, five minute's walk from the railway station. from the station main entance, take the left street to the town centre (not all the way left, down the hill). go right at the crossroads on friar street and the pub is on your left. parking is available at the oracle, queen's road, broad street mall and reading station, and in very limited numbers on friar street itself (access after 4pm).
