He started life as a small
child, quickly growing to adultery.
Chip came to Nashville in the '70's and knew a great town when he saw it!
He toured the country in the 80's singin' through his nose and doing his
best to give
Nashville pickers a bad name, playing in 47 states and all over Canada with
bar bands
and Grand Ole Opry Stars like Porter Wagonner, Jimmie Dickens, Kitty Wells,
Ed Bruce, and Mickey Gilley, eventually backing legendary Texas writer, the
late great
Townes Van Zandt. His slide guitar, mandolin playing, harmony singing,
and fun stage presence are a cool addition to Next of Kin.
He's a fun guy who is living proof of his motto:
"It's never too late to
have a happy childhood!"
