| You will need the following parts: | |
| 1. | The connector plug from a handsree or something. make sure it is easily dismantled not the moulded type because you will need to dismantle it. |
| 2. | A small box to put the electronics in. |
| 3. | Some 4 core wire, about a meter. |
| 4. | Con1 = A 9 pin serial plug |
| 5. | C1 = 100n Caps |
| 6. | C2 = 0.1uf 16VCaps Elec |
| 7. | D1 = 1N4001 Diodes |
| 8. | D2 = 1N4148Diodes |
| 9. | D3 = 2V7 Zenner Diodes |
| 10. | Reg1 = 7805 Regulator |
| 11. | IC = Max3232 Chip |
| If you can get the PCB etched use the image on the left. and wire it up as on the right |
