  Ever since he was 10 years old, Tokiya Mikagami have thrown away his human feelings and lived only for revenge. To find the man who killed his beloved sister. He thinks only for revenge and lives a solitary life; not caring for anyone who tries to befriended him. It was later did he discover that the very assassin is actually his master, Meguri Kyoza. He had Mifuyu killed so that Tokiya would get stronger and learn faster with a vengeance. It was Tokiya�s student rival, Kai of Magic Ice Sword, that told him this, before committing suicide by jumping off the arena�s cliff at the last round of the Dark Martial Combat.

  Tokiya tried to kill Recca when he first met him. Shadow had told him Recca had something to do with his sister�s death. Without thinking rationally, he got Recca beat up pretty badly. He was about to give the final blow when Yanagi came to the rescue. Her resemblances to the late Mifuyu and her obvious concern for Recca made him stop and walk off, saying that they will fight again. The second time they battle, Recca had got stronger and defeated him. It was later did Tokiya finally (and reluctantly) join the Hokage Team.
