Once she was a forgotten child, left alone to die with her sisters. Then she was a maid in Kurei�s mansion, earning her wages like any loyal servant. In the end, she is a member of the Uruha Jushin Shu, serving as Kurei�s right-hand woman. She is one of the very few members who knows well of Kurei�s secrets. She had seen what suffering Kurei had endured from Kouran Mori. She is deeply devoted to Kurei, and it's obvious that she loves him very much. She will do anything for him; even risk her own life just doing something he wants her to do, to prove her loyalty. She seems to be pretty close friends to Raiha and Jishou, but doesn't like Genjuro very much. She also hates Magensha for killing Jishou. Her Flute of Death controls her psychic device, Clashing Harmony.

  Neon was in love with him, but knew that he in turn loved Kurenai. She accepted their mutual love and did nothing to try to separate the two. She might have wished for Kurei to return her love, but certainly would not stoop so low as to get him by destroying the love between the two people she respected and admired the most.   After the brutal murder of Kurenai by Mori Kouran, Neon joined the Uruha Jushin Shu for one sole purpose: To get closer to Kurei to be able to protect him from harm and be his right-hand "woman". After training tirelessly, despite the difficulties, she finally managed to achieve her goal. Although even being in Kurei's service was not without its difficulties (Such as being punished so severely when she disobeyed and told Recca about Kurei's past that she had to wear bandages for quite a while after that), she continues to serve him tirelessly, clinging on to the hope that he may one day return her love.

  Later in the manga, Mori Kouran turned on Kurei at the end of the tournament. And it was Neon who saved him.....and also bring back his humanity which was lost after Kurenai's death. Later together with Miki and Aki, she went to protect Kurei who left her to kill Mori Kouran with Raiha and Joker.
