God i hate this part. This is the part where i go on and on about some stupid anime everyone likes. why does anyone even consider this an anime i dont know. But this is just my opinion. I will judge it fairly.

There are 3 parts of the Dragon ball series. Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and Dragon Ball GT. They go in order just like that. The only good one will be done first.

Dragon Ball: Number of Episodes: 153

This is actually not that bad. I would definatly watch it again. This is about a young boy that came from another planet, sent to destroy the earth. (he was a baby at the time) But someone found him and raised him as a baby from earth. There was just the little weird thing about his tail. He grew up a sheltered life in the wilderness now knowing of any technology whatsoever. After his "grandfather" past away he was met with a young women that declared that Goku's (kid's name) grandfather's keepsake was in fact an item called a dragon ball. If 7 of these were found a magic dragon would apear and grant 1 wish to anyone. A great power that could be in anyones hand. So the story begins!!!

Truth be told i actually, dare i say, like Dragon Ball. I just HATE DBZ and DBGT. they get really old..really fast. So i have to say if they are showing it.

Dragon Ball Z: Number of Episodes: 291

Thats a lot of episodes isnt it. 153 + 291. woooo. Anyway. Dragon Ball Z is a Sequel to Dragon Ball. At the end of dragon ball you find out that this alien is enimies with goku..(thats all im going to tell you b/c you really have to watch Dragon Ball) (notice this is a little later on in Goku's life. He is like 20ish now. he has a kid. and a wife which he meet in db) so his enemy, piccolo, and him have to join forces to defeat a Sayian. A saiyian is a race of people that have more brute strength then smarts. they are known to change into giant monkeys when there is a full moon. Goku is one of these sayians. If you remember back in my review of db. u can see that i said he was from a differet world sent to earth to destroy it. Now Goku's race is trying to do what he could not. There is a secret to the sayian race though. They are controled by a smart and powerful leader freiza. Can goku destroy the sayians that are after earth and at the same time libarate them from the evil tirant freiza???? Of course he can. He has 291 episodes to do it in. gosh.

Rating: Moderatly okay. Not as good as db. but better than DBGT.

Dragon Ball GT: Number of Episodes: 64

ONLY 64??? This is where it goes downhill. The story behind it is. The person that created Dragon ball did not do this series. Some people took over Dragon ball and pretended that this was good. So all the characters you know a love now say some of the stupidist lines i have ever heard. Things that there character that you knew for years would never say b/c the character's arent that egotistical. ANYWAY. This takes place when goku is an old man. Maybe 50ish. His sayian blood makes him only look 30 though. With a mix up in the dragon balls. they accidentaly wish goku would be a kid again. So now goku is like 12. WTF. no he has to go around the GALAXY for the BLACK STAR dragon balls so he can wish him self back to normal. BUT an evil genius, which they had in dbz, attacks them. this is the same thing over and over again. They even get the DEAD android 17 back in this one. really corny. there are no new characters what so ever. no story line. this is just a waste of day time tv.
