Q. What are constellations?

rocks, shadows are produced, because, light cannot pass through solid objects..Isaiah 32:2..When the
light of the sun shines upon the earth which is a [rock..a solid mass..a constellation] planet, some of the
light bounces of the earth, and is reflected back into space..Light can be reflected..The moon is a round
rock which has no light of its own, and is walking in the light of the sun, as it orbits the rotating earth,
which is travelling along with the sun, on its journey from one end of the expanse of space to the other..
The moon gives light by reflection..The moon is a reflector.

THE SUN
The sun rises over the earth, and the sun goes down over the earth, and the sun hasteth to the place where

THE EARTH
The earth was once a ball..Isaiah 40:22..of burning..Job 28:5..vapour..2 Peter 3:10-12..The inside of the
earth is [esh..hot] fiery..Job 28:5..over a period of time, the earth began to cool down, and the surface of
the earth became [hard] rock.

Q. What is a shadow?
A. A rock is a solid object..Light cannot pass through solid objects..When a solid object comes between
the light of the sun and the ground, a dark image of the solid object appears on the ground..The dark
image is a shadow.
When the sun shines upon the earth, some of the suns light is blocked, and a shadow of the earth is
produced in space, when the moon, passes into the earth's shadow, a partial, or total, lunar eclipse occurs.
There are two shaded areas behind the earth, one is the penumbra, and the other is the umbra..The
penumbra is the shadow that is produced by the earth, however, the suns light is radiated into space, so,
the penumbra is lighter than the umbra because, when the moon passes into the penumbra, the moon then
blocks out more of the suns radiated light within the penumbra, and a darker more focused, *shadow of
the moon upon the earth, the umbra, is produced.
When the moon moves into the umbra directly behind the sun and the earth, a total lunar eclipse takes
place..Partial eclipses of the moon happen when the moon moves into the penumbra.
During a lunar eclipse the moon does not totally disappear and go black, instead, the moon changes
colour, and turns reddish..Joel 2:21..Acts 2:20..Revelation 6:12..because, the light of the sun is shining
through the atmosphere which surrounds the earth.
There are [dark areas] shadows in space..Shade is cool..Isaiah 25:5..If there are [dark areas] shadows in
space, and [dark areas] shadows are cool..Isaiah 4:6..Isaiah 25:5..then, there are different temperatures in
different areas of space.
PHASES OF THE MOON..Parts of the moon can be darkened..Revelation 6:12..As the moon is orbiting
the earth, differing shadows upon the moon, cause the moon to take on different shapes..The phases of
the moon are..New moon..First quarter..Gibbous..Full moon..Gibbous..Last quarter..Old moon..
The moon can be used [for counting] as a calender..Genesis 1:14
