I was personally handed this guitar by Michael Robinson, owner and founder of Eastwood Guitars, when I went to pick it up at his house in Canada.

This is a replica of a 1964 Jetson's style Airline Guitar. The original "Airlines" were Res-O-Glass (fiberglass) guitars made by Valco during the 1960's and were sold through Montgomery Ward's stores. The Airline guitars were made famous by bluesmen like J.B. Hutto and more recently by Jack White of the White Stripes. Original Airline guitars and extremely rare and often play pretty horribly, if at all. The Eastwood Airline has classic looks with modern playability and functionality. The mahogany body gives the guitar the same warm sound as the original but with better tone, sustain, and with an adjustable bridge (the original bridges were wood) to allow for proper intonation.
