Ryo gave Miboshi back to Li and fought and insane Li. Neither one of them won, instead Ryo got locked in a hole in time. He managed to get out by tapping into Li's powers (one of Ryo's new abilities) and ended up rescuing Yui from her kidnapper and returning her to Nakago and Tamahome's group. While saving her, he was almost waylaid by Maosi except the Shinigami seishi, Ryu (the kidnapper) stopped Maosi from getting to him (Ryu doesn't really embrace his power and the Shinigami cause). After some Maosi and Li punishment, Ryu met the priestess of Shinigami and has decided to help her out (mainly to stop them from hurting Yui at some later date).
While this was going on... Fayra got a hold of Kouji and poisoned his mind against Tasuki and Kaku. Kouji, turning on them, assisted Fayra in an attack on them in which Serafina was killed. After they left, Kaku went after Kouji, thinking she could make him be good again. Kaku just got hurt for her trouble. After dropping Yui off, Ryo came to help Kaku and called the Daughters to bring her to Taiitsukun for healing.
~Then... Fayra freakishly dies!~
Li and Maosi feel her death. Li goes to find out what happened while Maosi goes insane, convinced that Ryo killed Fayra. Maosi goes after Ryo and almost kills him. Plus her insanity causes a HUGE storm... Ryo is once more rescued by Taiitsukun and after talking a bit with Kaku heads back to his own world.
During the huge storm, the good guys took cover and held out. Also, Courtney was left in Ryu's care.. (that may not be good). Afterward, Maosi is so drained she goes to the hideout to rest.
other: Kaika (Amiboshi) and Shigeru meet Reina, a dancer. They both sense something strange about her.
Shaylee is with Li (her daddy) now.
Kano is at the bottom of Ryu's mountain.
The Shinigami hideout has been changed to a room with a tree as the entrance.
Outside the book:
The outsiders read the book and then decide to head to Tets' place. They stay very upbeat even though some bad things are happening. Matt, Keisuke, and Tets await the arrival of Ryo.
