| Be strong In times of loss and pain Be strong There is always hope Be strong Your loss is not in vain Be strong and keep you head up high Be strong and know that tomorrow will come Be strong Hold tight to your beliefs and know that your God has not abandoned you Be strong Right will prevail over the evil we now see Be strong and teach your children not to hate Be strong teach them in the ways of our hearts not to judge others outwardly but by their hearts fight hate with love and compassion Be strong Don't become that which sickens our heart and souls Be strong Remember those who have died for the cause of freedom and justice Be strong Never take your life for granted Your children, your friends, your families miracles...every sunrise, every sunset, butterflies and dragonflies and fireflies the wisdom in the face of your grandmother your mother your little daughter tears and laughter your memories of happier times your memories of sadness and your ability to care deeply and be touched by these things even if it means feeling your pain be glad you can feel it and you haven't hardened your heart as those who caused such pain Never take for granted even a single breath in freedom BE STRONG |
