American Bull Breed Association Mission Statement

The primary mission of the American Bull Breed Association is to work cooperatively with bull breed registries and organizations and those of other targeted breeds in the identification and defeat of Breed Specific Legislation at all levels of government. ABBA members will assist legislators in the creation of programs and legislation which will promote responsible dog ownership and the enforcement of strong, effective, non-breed specific dog laws.

ABBA members will participate in and support proactive programs which will educate the public in being safe with dogs. This may, in part, include in school presentations to children, public information booths, and private presentations to organizations.

ABBA will support and recognize the efforts of canines, individuals or organizations: performing heroic acts; participating in grassroots community efforts and making legislative decisions promoting canine welfare; providing public information reflecting all breeds in a positive and realistic manner; or showing extraordinary dedication to the rescue of abandoned and abused bull breed dogs.
