Just Another Nobody

She sells herself
just another quick buck
and lost dignity
Nothing a little makeup
won't cover.

Just another nobody
They call her a whore
after their done abusing her
and robbing her of her innocence
Just another nobody.

He works for food
washing windows on cars
Hoping to get some spare
change.
If he's lucky he'll have enough
to get a bottle of jack to keep
warm tonight.

Just another nobody.
They call him a bum
and after they toss him a quarter
they laugh and walk away
with a smirk,
Just another nobody.

He sells crack
standing on the corner.
Eyes glazed over and red.
He goes home and snorts
another line to keep going.

Just another nobody.
They call him a druggie,
a pusher.
They lock him up hoping
to forget him
Just another nobody.
