Deborah movie career includes many short films and off Broadway productions, but "Love come Down"  directed by Jamaican Canadian Director Clement Virgo was her first feature film.  It was Virgo's third movie.  "Save my lost Nigger Soul" and The Planet of Junior Brown were his last 2 movies. "Love Come Down" stars Larenz Tate as "Neville" a comedian struggling with his career. His brother Matthew (Martin Cummins) is a boxer and "Nikko" (Deborah Cox)is Tate's love interest who is also struggling with a singing career and a complicated home life.  The film also stars Rainbow Sun Franks as Julian and Sarah Polley as the nun. Also starring in the role of Deborah's dying mother is Jennifer Walsh Kenneth Dale plays Neville's brother and Clark Johnson as their abusive father.The movie is a touching tale of 2 brother trying to keep their family together in spite of their mother being in jail and many  social obstacles.
