Mother Earth's scars fade in time. Ours do to if we become aware of them and accept them as part of our life experience. In this way scars become comforts in knowing that no pain lasts forever. Yet, with no pain, there is no pleasure, because one exists by comparing to the other. Likewise this photo and life in general can be ugly or beautiful. You choose.
