Lucille Noble's paintings are in several mediums:  oils, acrylics, water colors and pastels, however,       her favorite medium is oil. She has been painting       and drawing since she was first introduced to the      art world as a child of ten years old.
Born and raised in the Boston, Massachusetts       area, Lucille's education in the arts included classes   and studies with the Boston Museum of Fine Arts,     the DeCordiva Museum, and private tutors. She has   also been a member of The Copley Art Society of Boston. Lucille received a degree in wood sculpturing and carving from the Raptor Academy     in Vermont, and also studied with the renowned        world champion bird carver and sculpturer, Floyd     Scholz.
The artist has always enjoyed painting as she       perceives the composition through her own eyes       and her own self-teachings. Her style of painting       has been totally in keeping with her moods and          feelings at the time of the creation of each work.
Lucille Noble's  paintings are in private               collections  in France, England, Ireland and the         United States. She has found that  private showings   have been the most satisfying way to exhibit her        work.  Exhibiting on a website is a first for her and,  of course, not all of her paintings will be shown on    this site.
Lucille's recent exhibit took place on Cape Cod from June 12-18, 2005 at Guyer Barn Gallery and Art Center, Hyannis, MA. Future exhibits will be announced on this website..
