| "Misty" is very similar to her dam, Northern Oasis Tea N'Biscuits. She has a lot of length and is going to be quite tall. She has a long bone pattern, her pasterns are short and straight and Misty shows the strength of feet and legs typical of our herd. She's a very dairy and sharp looking doe, smooth and tight in the front end, blending nicely into a graceful neck. I have been impatiently waiting for her to freshen, as she is a "Remix" daughter and I am anticipating a beautiful udder. She was supposed to be bred to Blue Thunder Lord Reichen (thanks to Allen Wells, Westlake Caprines). Unfortunately, she came into heat in late January and I decided then I would keep her dry. Well, on her next cycle I couldn't resist and bred her to our buck Northern Oasis CG Brave Son. This is not a breeding I had planned for but it will be interesting. :) |
