| Every year I have a favourite kid and "Avi" is the one in 2005! She is a love! Just like her dam, Avi is going to be a large doe. She is tall, long and has inherited Enya's strength in feet and legs. She is an improvement over her dam in a smoother shoulder assembly. Her escutcheon looks promising but we will have to wait as I have held her over as a dry yearling. She is almost identical to her dam in colour and markings, so Matt nicknamed her "Mini-E". Avi looks all "fluffy" in her winter clothes and it didn't help that a brisk north wind was blowing. Picture taken February 5, 2006. |
