The beautiful shoreline and historic homes and buildings make Noank, Connecticut the perfect example of a New England fishing village. The little beach at the Town Dock in Noank is a favorite place to spend many childhood days. On a clear day you can see the Islands off in the distance.

Noank Baptist Church sits high on a hill overlooking the sound. There are beautiful ocean views that can be seen from the church. At night, the brightly-lit steeple of Noank Baptist is the main landmark for the Noank shoreline.
