I awoke early in the morning to see that Aoshi was leaning away from me and I rose not disturbing his sleep and dressed into some loose pants and one of his baggy long sleeved shirts. I grabbed my sling bag and walked out of the room silently closing the door behind me leaving Aoshi and Izumi to sleep.

I had been wandering around the local markets for a couple of hours looking for what I wanted. I had bought some fresh flowers for Tosh’s house, some groceries, general gifts for Megumi, Sano, Aoshi and Izumi. I couldn’t believe it was already time to go back to university already. I loved spending time with Tosh and Miriam and I was going to miss them when we leave.
"Misao?" I turned around when I heard my name and came face to face with…
"M-Mr Shinomori…" I stuttered out surprised. He smiled gently at me taking my bags for me and entered a small café. I followed close behind and we sat down and I began to fidget placing my things on the ground but stopped when he spoke.
"Misao you can relax. I am not here to fight with you." I blushed embarrassed and he chuckled lightly. It sounded just like Aoshi.
"I merely wanted to know how you are feeling after that dreadful day in the park." I bit my lip but spoke kindly to him.
"Thank you Mr Shinomori, but truly I’m okay. The doctor said I’m in perfect health just with a few scratches and bruises that’s all." He nodded in understanding and soon spoke again.
"I also came to apologise about what Shiris had said an-"
"Don’t Mr Shinomori. I can understand were she is coming from in some way. I know she loves Aoshi and she wants the best for him, as well as for her only grandchild. I-I know I can give them my love because I already am doing that and I know they love me back just as much. I just hope one day she’ll understand and hopefully except me for who I am because I’m never leaving Aoshi." I spoke softly but confidently cutting him off.
"Would you like a lift back to where you are staying Misao?"
"Thank you."

I thanked Mr Shinomori and told him what time our flight was tonight and he said he’ll be there and dragging his wife along. I giggled at that and walked around the side to find everyone in the backyard.
"Good Afternoon!" I spoke cheerfully and they all turned to look at me. I dropped the bags on the ground and picked Izumi up as she came racing over to greet me. I knew Aoshi was coming over to take my bags but I took the one with the gifts inside, as I didn’t want him finding his.
I walked up the stairs as Izumi kept asking me where I had been, why didn’t I let her come and if I bought her any surprises. I placed her on the bed and brought out a large picture book, which was full of flowers, landscapes and animals. I also presented the black and purple dress to her, which had a couple of tiny purple butterflies on the front and the matching hat. She squealed happily, wrapping her arms around my neck and kissed my cheek thanking me. She ran back downstairs to tell Tosh and Miriam what she got while taking the book with her.
"So where did you go? And why so early?" Aoshi spoke curiously as I walked past him with some bags and he followed close behind. I entered the kitchen and began unpacking the groceries and sorting out what I was going to make for dinner.
"To the markets. I just wanted to buy a few things and I was getting some ingredients for the dinner I’m making tonight, to thank Tosh and Miriam for having us." I spoke while rummaging around in the cupboards for different spices and sauces.
"I ran into your father too." I spoke absently. I heard a cup full to the floor and saw Aoshi bending over to pick it up and grab the handtowel to wipe up the water that spilled everywhere.
"What did he say?" Aoshi had spoken while sitting on the bench behind me and I smiled at him, which seemed to ease his tension.
"Actually I think your dad likes me, but I know your mum hates my guts and don’t defend her because you know its true. She dislikes me more then anything in the world because I have taken her eldest son, her grand daughter calls me "mummy" and she can’t do anything about it and most of all I am not Yooko." I turned around at saying the last part because I was sick of people thinking I wasn’t good enough to be a mother and that I could never compare to someone who was dead.
"But what if I am glad you aren’t?" I was pulled against the bench Aoshi was sitting on and he wrapped his legs around my upper thighs while his arms draped loosely over my shoulders hugging me from behind. I pressed my back against his large chest feeling the rumbling of his voice as he spoke again and closed my eyes.
"I never asked you to be Yooko and I sure as hell don’t want you to be her. I just want Misao Makimachi the young woman I love and who is having our child. Isn’t that good enough for you to forget what the others think, including my mother? It shouldn’t matter what they think it should only matter what I and Izumi think of you."
"I know, I’m special and unique." I spoke softly to him.
"How did yo-"
"I heard you speaking to your mother when I was in the hospital bed. I heard everything you and Izumi said. Its what brought me back." I spoke quickly cutting him off. I felt him brush my braid away from my neck and kiss it while pressing me tighter against him and the bench.
"Hey, hey! None of that in here…this is my kitchen after all!" I heard Tosh speak as he walked into the kitchen. I laughed as did Aoshi and Miriam. Aoshi let go and I stepped away letting him get down and I watched as Tosh’s facial features soften and he began walking closer towards me.
"Misao are you really…" He didn’t finish as I nodded my head while smiling brightly and he wrapped me up in his hug and spoke softly into my ear even though the others could hear him.
"Your dream has come true Misao…I’m so happy for you…" I closed my eyes embracing him as well and heard his voice change back to normal as he let go.
"So I’m finally going to be an uncle after all hey?" I laughed and nodded my head at him. He placed his hand on his chin rubbing it and then spoke again.
"Cool!"
"Misao?" I looked to see Miriam as she had tears in her eyes and I walked over and hugged her. She whispered into my ear and I nodded my head replying back to her with a question of my own that only she could hear.
"MISAO!" I let go to see her blushing bright red and looked to see Aoshi and Tosh have the same confused face expression. I placed a sly grin on my face diverting my eyes over to Tosh and heard Miriam shriek and run out into the backyard more embarrassed thinking I was going to tell him.
"MIRIAM WHAT’S THE MATTER?" I saw Tosh run after her.
"Okay, what did you torment her with now?" Aoshi asked smiling at me.
"Oh I was just asking when she was going to make me an Aunt, no biggie." I spoke while giggling a little. Aoshi wrapped me up in his hug and spoke into my ear.
"That’s not nice koibito." I giggled a little more and spoke defending myself.
"She disserved it after what she said about you."
"Oh?" Now he was intrigued. He leaned me away from him so he could look into my eyes and I blushed while talking once more.
"S-She said you must be rather energetic and powerful to cure my lifelong problem."
"What and you didn’t blush when she said this to you?" He asked astonished. I placed my hands over my cheeks and spoke again.
"I couldn’t let her have the upper hand! I did use all my will power you know! I don’t want anyone knowing how you make me feel!" I spoke abruptly. I gasped and my cheeks went redder when I felt Aoshi’s large hand squeeze one of my breasts while the other made maddeningly slow circles around one of my thighs.
"And how is that Misao?" He spoke huskily into my ear.
"Always…always…" My breath was becoming shallow and I turned his head to mine and kissed him hungrily and moaned when he squeezed a little harder and pressed me closer to him.
"DADDY!" I stepped away when we heard Izumi yell. We watched her run into the kitchen and thrust the book up into the air talking to him.
"Please come and look at the book with me daddy!" She spoke excitedly. It was still wrapped up with the bow around it, as she hadn’t even looked in it yet. She wanted to wait for Aoshi. I smiled at her sweet gesture and watched as they walked out of the kitchen. I turned back around and started on making dinner.

I found Tosh, Miriam and Izumi at the table as I brought the pasta and salad out with me. I looked to Izumi as she was eyeing the food hungrily and she raised her fork indicating Aoshi was still upstairs.
I walked into the room to see all our bags packed and placed my hands to my heart as I saw Aoshi asleep in the large cushion chair near the window as the sunset’s colours reflected over his beautiful features. The perfect opportunity has come along Misao, a small voice spoke inside myself. My heartbeat grew faster as I grabbed the small folded package from my back pocket and opened it up bringing the contents out. I held the silver rings in front of me looking at them sparkling from the last rays of the day. I drew closer to Aoshi, grabbing a pillow from the bed and sat on the ground making myself more comfortable while watching him sleep. I placed the female wedding band on the floor beside me hidden away from view and held Aoshi’s tightly in my right hand. I took a deep breath and raised my left hand brushing it over his right cheek coaxing him out of his sleep. I smiled as he murmured my name and opened those blue-green eyes to sort out mine.
"Hey sleepy head. You coming down for dinner?" I spoke softly to him. He smiled his reply at me and it made him even more handsome then he already is. He began to leave the chair but I placed my hand on his chest while kneeling up on my knees in front of him. He had a confused look on his face but sat back in the chair waiting for me to talk.
"I want to say something to you and I want you to wait until I have finished." I watched him nod his head silently and so I spoke.
"When I was a little girl I’d always dream that when I grew up I was going to meet the man of my dreams. The one who would want to take care of me, treasure me and love me for life. I never in my whole life thought that I’d ever find it, but I did. I found it in a man with piercing blue-green eyes, a beautiful daughter who I love as my own and the deepest voice, which holds more emotions then he’ll ever admit to or know about. When I first saw you I was blown away. You were so…so…I can’t even describe it. When I saw you on the same plane as myself my heart went into a flutter and my mind raced a mile a minute going crazy of what I was going to say to you if you even spoke to me. Everytime I saw you after that day you still sent my heart into spasms as you make it truly beat everyday. That still occurs now even though I am used to you, but this will always happen because of the way you make me feel. Everytime time you speak, look at me and definitely when you touch me I feel special and unique to know that I am the luckiest woman in the world to have someone like you who loves me with so much passion."
"M-Misao…" I placed a finger stopping him from talking and spoke again, as I wasn’t finished.
"Aoshi I just have one question for you. I want to spend forever with you and Izumi because I love you both so very much and…and…will you marry me Aoshi Shinomori?" I looked up into his eyes saying this with so much passion and confidence I had even surprised myself and then placed the silver band on his left ring finger. I watched as he looked down at his hand and he moved the chair away from himself and sank to the ground in front of me. My eyes widened when I saw his sparkle with unshed tears. I watched as he nodded his head numerous times, his voice sticking in his throat and crushed me into his embrace. I cried happily against him and then showered kisses all over his face as he laughed happily along with me. He held my head in his hands placing his lips against mine for a long passionate kiss that lasted until we both ran out of breath.
"Aren’t I the one who is suppose to propose Misao?" I heard Aoshi whisper into my ear seconds later.
"I knew you would have one day but I just beat you to it because I want to be with you more then anything. I want the whole world to know you and Izumi are mine forever." I watched as he smiled and kissed me gently once more and then stood up taking me with him. I let go and stooped down to pick up my ring and my eyes widened when Aoshi snatched it out of my hands. I turned my surprised gaze upward to look at him and he mumbled apologetically and placed the ring on my finger, wanting to do it himself. I smiled and hugged him around the waist.
"Mummy! Daddy! Tea’s getting cooooooolllllllddddddd!" We both laughed at Izumi’s irritated voice as they waited for us to join them for dinner. We took our bags downstairs as well and entered the dining room to give them our wonderful news.

We were standing in the airport waiting for our flight to be called over but it appeared to be delayed at the moment. Tosh and Miriam had stayed in the car trying to find a park while we checked in. I was wearing a long black skirt that hung on my hips with splits up the sides, my red tank top, that showed off my belly to everyone who wished to see and a pair of black slip on shoes. I was standing up not wanting to sit down as Aoshi stood behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist, while placing his hands one on top of the other against my stomach holding me protectively close to him. I looked down at one of the airport seats to see Izumi wearing her denim outfit again, and looking in her book. She wanted to wear her new outfit when we went back to the park so everyone could see and then she’d show it to Uncle Sano and Aunt Megumi as well.
Miriam and Tosh finally turned up and I spoke while hugging Tosh as Aoshi had let go of me for a moment.
"You’ll have to come visit us Tosh. Remember you promised and now you can actually come without fearing Miriam will meet some guy while you’re away because you can drag her along." He let go blushing a little at what I had said.
"Is that right Tosh?" Miriam spoke intrigued crossing her arms smugly.
"Yeah well look who’s talking. I mean how many oceans could you have made when crying that whole year Tosh was away though." Aoshi piped up defending my brother. We all heard a muffled gasp come from Miriam as she placed her hands over her mouth while turning bright red.
"Is that right Miriam?" Tosh lost his blush and regained his voice speaking smugly back to her. They both stopped when Izumi giggled.
"Aunt Miriam, Uncle Tosh, you are so funny!"
We all laughed but finally said our good-byes once more as Miriam and Tosh had work early in the morning and needed a goodnight sleep. I watched as they walked off lightly bickering with each other even though they were arm in arm.
"AOSHI, IZUMI!" I heard Mrs Shinomori yell and turned around to see her walking happily over to them not even acknowledging that I existed.
"Izumi come make sure you have got everything you need." I spoke to Izumi wanting to give Aoshi some time alone with his mum and dad.
"Coming mummy." I diverted my eyes back to Mrs Shinomori whose face screwed up in annoyance. I placed a smile on my face not letting her ruin anything for me. I bent down placing Izumi’s bag on her, as I knew we were going to board any minute now and stood up placing my own pack on my back.
"Misao I am so happy to have met you." I looked over to see Mr Shinomori speaking and walking over to me and I smiled and replied back to him.
"Me too Mr Shinomori."
"Please call me Takie…or should I say dad." He spoke the last part quietly to me and lifted my hand looking at the ring. I blushed but gave him a small smile at the sweet gesture.
"Now was my son actually brave enough to propose or did you?"
"Actually I know he would have proposed to me but I guess I couldn’t help myself. I just want to be with them both…besides I think Misao Shinomori has a nice ring to it." Mr Shinomori chuckled and I giggled as well. I was surprised when he wrapped me up in a comforting hug and whispered in my ear.
"I’m so happy and proud that my son has found eternal love with a beautiful woman like yourself. I pray that one day my wife will stop being so stubborn and see this." Tears glistened in my eyes and they fell when he spoke again.
"You take care of them and that little one in there too." I gasped and pulled away, my mouth moving but nothing came out.
"It’s alright Misao, I know, and I am ecstatic. I can’t wait to be a grand father again. I won’t tell Shiris either, not until she stops being so childish." I smiled wiping the tears away and kissed his cheek. He let go and walked back over to Shiris as Aoshi wrapped an arm around me as he already had Izumi in his arms. We watched as they walked off silently and I grabbed my gift bag and began walking to the gate when I heard my name. I turned around to see my mother standing by herself in her business outfit.
"What are you doing here? Aren’t you suppose to be working or something?"
"I came to see you off Misao. I am your mother after all."
"So you say." I spoke coldly to her.
"Misao you must give your father and myself time to accept this, this thing you are doing." I shook my head angrily at her but kept my voice calm.
"It is not a thing! But guess what, you can have 20 years to try and accept that I am in love and happy with who I am and what I want in life. Have the rest of your life to figure out how stupid you two are behaving because quite frankly I really couldn’t care less anymore. I finally have the family I have always dreamt about. Me, Aoshi, Izumi and this one." I spoke placing my hand on my stomach. I heard my mother gasp but I walked over to Aoshi wrapping my arm around his waist and walked away not saying anything more.
"Misao?" I looked up into Aoshi’s eyes but shook my head at him and spoke softly.
"For the first time I am truly happy and I am not going to let anyone spoil this for me. This is what I want." I watched him nod and we entered the plane going home.
* * * *
"Goodnight mummy…love you…" And Izumi was dead asleep. I laughed a little as she really was like me. I got up and closed her door behind me and leaned on the door to Aoshi’s room. He had already unpacked his bag and was sitting on the end of the bed taking his socks and shoes off as he was now only clad in his loose pants. I walked closer standing in front of him and watch him look up at me.
"May I ask what you spoke to your mother about when I took Izumi away?" I spoke softly to him.
"No." I was shocked at his abrupt answer and frowned at him.
"I’m kidding Misao." Aoshi spoke while dragging me closer to him so he could hug me around the waist and place his cheek and ear against my stomach. I ran my fingers through his hair marveling at how soft and silky it felt. Minutes went by and I looked down to see Aoshi brush his lips over my stomach as though he was kissing our unborn child goodnight.
"A-Aoshi…can I stay here…with you?" I spoke shyly to him as if uncertain. He looked up at me and replied back.
"Of course! What about we move your stuff down here tomorrow?" I nodded my head and stepped away taking off all my clothes and placing one of his baggy shirts on. I climbed into the bed leaning on my right side facing him and he spoke again.
"She said she needs time to think about what I am doing. I was angry about that and soon told her. I told her to look over at you and Izumi to see how happy she was and I think its starting to sink in. She even told me I look happier then I have ever been in my whole life and I said it was because of you. I finally have the family I have always dreamt about too and its because I have you in it." I smiled tearfully and wrapped my arms around his waist speaking into his chest.
"I promise I’ll make you happy Aoshi. I promise I’ll always be here for you and Izumi." Aoshi hugged me tighter to him and spoke again.
"You do make me happy Misao…What about my father…did he-"
"He’s great. He actually wanted me to call him dad and he told me he was so proud of you for finding eternal love. He told me to take care of you, Izumi and the little one inside me. He knew and he was totally happy for us. He said he couldn’t wait to be a grandfather again. Did I tell you he said I was a beautiful woman?" I spoke cutting him off.
"That’s a bit wrong." I sat up on my knees looking at him as I frowned deeply at him for saying that. He too sat up smiling at me and I gave him a confused look but my eyes widened when he pulled his shirt off of me leaving me naked for him to stare at.
"You are so much more then that Misao and I am overjoyed and honoured that I am the only one who knows the true you." I gasped and closed my eyes when he sucked on my pulse point. He pushed me onto my back as he lay beside me gazing at my nakedness. My breathing was becoming shallow at the way he stared and he finally brought his lips close to mine so I could taste them. All to quickly he took them away from me and began kissing down my face to my neck. His tongue darted out caressing my collarbones and all I did was lie limply on the bed wanting more. One of his hands began caressing my breast while his mouth engulfed the other. My breathing was becoming louder and I arched into him wanting more pressure. He complied with my wishes switching his mouth to the other breast while massaging the other one. I pressed both my hands onto the back of his head as he suckled harder. I parted my legs as his lower body fell between them and we groaned at the same time. I could feel his desire for me and he felt my heat and wetness against him. He kissed a path down my body and caressed my stomach lovingly. My eyes snapped open, my body jerked around a bit and my breathing turned to small pants moaning his name as Aoshi was now between my legs. His tongue grazed against me slowly making me wetter then ever. His fingers began a slow dance inside of me as he brought me higher to my realising point. I moaned louder, bracing my weight on my arms and lifted my hips wanting him more. I too had begun to rock against his fingers as I stretched up on my toes. Aoshi’s spare hand held the small of my back close to him and I came in full force rocking faster and withering against him while softly sobbing at being so impassioned. He lowered my body back to the bed, which felt a bit damp from my arousal and lay lightly on top of me waiting for me to come back. I opened my passion-glazed eyes looking up at him. I watched as his eyes smiled happily and he went back to work bringing me to many more orgasms by doing the same thing and much more.
* * * *
Hours passed as I finally fell heavily against Aoshi’s chest. We were still joined together as I could feel the faint throbbing of his engorged manhood still inside me. Our bodies glistened with sweat and our hearts beat rapidly. Aoshi turned over pulling out of me and lay on his stomach near me. His hand brushed over my stomach comfortingly and we both feel into a blissful sleep, making sure the covers where securely over us.
