Yeah....me either. I've always owned Honda and never had a problem. Maybe it's your dealerships. Sounds like they don't have their shit together. I am sure it isn't Honda's fault. Honda is on top of their game. They've consistantly made some of the best streetbikes to date. Sorry dude. I wouldn't be posting crap like that. Get over it. You shouldn't have crashed it in the first place.

Yea, Honda is BY FAR a legendary manufacturer of legendary supersports. And the cbr929rr FIREBLADE is a great bike. Really sorry all this crap happened to you. My ninja was down getting painted by some oakie retard who didn't finish for 3 months!!! and he mangled my gas tank, and i had to buy a new one! I missed a lot of the summer too... Didn't get her back until late october.. WOOPIE right? anyway. Just letting you know someone hear's you and feels you're pain man... it might not be someone worth a fuck to you, or who can even help you out with this, but its the thought that counts huh? Also, to Bri_dtel - you should probably think a little more before you shi-- i mean speak. He was obviously dicked around by both the dealer and honda canada (well... its honda canada, what could you expect) after some moron pulled out in front of him.. You can't blame him for being pissed. Getting over it takes time - especially when he hasn't gotten to ride his bike in over a half a year, and is still playing both insurance and payments on it... so YOU should SHUT the fuck up. One day, someon's gonna pull out in front of you, and when you're amatuer hamfisted braking technique locks your front tire and sends you into their fender, you might not be so smug - btw bri_dtel - what are you riding? fuckin '82 nighthawk?

Peace guys, and dont let any of this give honda a bad rap. HONDA rules.

Yeah, that post was pretty harsh. Looks like motionblur didn't even bother to check Brian's profile. "Ham fisted" aren't words I would choose for his riding abilities.

Also, IMO, you can pretty much find people complaining about EVERY FRIGGIN BRAND made. I don't think this one guy is going to turn the tide much against Honda. While I can sympathize with him, we're only hearing one side of the story...

I didn't mean to be harsh at all.. Was just a little anoyed at what brian was saying to the poor guy...THAT was harsh "Get over it, you shouldn't have crashed" Put yourselves in his place... And i know each and every one of us has had to deal with a dealership, or the manufacturer of their machine at least once in their lives. While most of the time, both sets of people are very helpful, and try to get things to you as fast and efficiently as possible, they can't always.. I mean, when I ordered a new tank for my bike, Kawasaki sent the wrong one!!! had to wait 2 more weeks for the right tank.. Those kinds of things, consecutivley, can dash someone's trust in either their dealer or the maker of their machine... I think thats all poor bigspeedy wanted to get across.

In regards to brians riding abilities - No matter how good a rider you are, if you are an asshole, you are an asshole - no two ways about it.. he was being an asshole about the whole thing, and was treated accordingly - if thats being harsh, well, so be it. I meant NO disrespect and am going to formally RETRACT the whole '82 nighthawk statement - that was just plain low. :)

That said, it's not right to say 'get over it, you shouldn't have crashed in the first place' I agree.
However, iamhooligan1 has been [whining] on about this Honda problem for some time now and has even created a website telling the (rather long) tale of his woes (although it seems to have dissapeared now) - [incidentally iamhooligan1, objective achieved in my case, hand on heart I categorically state that I will not buy squat from Honda Canada, ever! ;-)]
I do sympathise with him [hooligan], I really do (I'd feel equally as incensed if it had happened to me I'm sure), and I totally understand that he really badly want's to get something back on Honda Canada/the dealer, but it doesn't change the fact that I'm now lightly bored hearing about it (and possibly not alone).
There are ways and means of getting corporate revenge, and this aint it. Plus, as MrStark just pointed out, we're only seeing one side of a story.
So anyway, welcome motionblurr, nice entrance!
(sorry, no idea how to graft clipons to a Monster, trial and error possibly the best. Take it to a dealer who stocks clip ons and is prepared to let you 'attempt' to fit them? Alternatively you're probably looking at a new set of yokes - not sure on the Monster design rationale but I always thought that it's the bottom yoke that should be the thicker of the 2?? Good luck anyway)
P.S. - Steve (one2gofst) has his own brand of sarcastic humour (we dont understand it either) he likes a good row tho and I for one find it immensely entertaining so feel free to prod him some more.... (Happy New Year Steve ;-)

bri_dte1 here...first of all, I didn't mean to be as harsh as I sounded. I think everyone has blown this clear out of the water. I understand the accident wasn't his fault and I apoligize if it sounded like that. None of us know what happened with the whole situation, but all I know is for over a year this kid has been posting his situation to everyone. With that, I simply made a reference to him "getting over it". The comment about him not getting in the accident wasn't complete and I apologize...I meant, it sucks to be in an accident, maybe you should try harder next time to avoid one.

As for this kid "motionblur"...I am still confused as to why my riding abilities are in question here. You better start thinking before you shi** talk. Your lack of intellegence is effecting the tone of this messageboard.

Anyway,
Thanks "mrstark1" for being the voice of reason.

Lata,
Bri
