| Chelsea dances for Southern Strut Dance Center in Georgia. On March 26, 2006 she competed in a dance competetion in Daytona Beach. She presented the tap solo, ' Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy' which won her a high gold award & highest score for any solo in the pre-Jr/Jr (8-12 years old) division. She also competed in production numbers 'Willie Wonka' & 'Schoolhouse Rock' which won gold awards. She also was in the small group 'Caught Up' where she was one of the youngest performers. 'Caught Up' scored a high gold & won overall high score for small groups. She competed again in Jacksonville in April. Her solo took 8th overall (under 13) & high gold. Willie Wonka & Caught Up won gold, while Schoolhouse Rock won high gold & 1st overall (under 13 large group) Chelsea also performed in Golden Isles Corp de Ballet's production of The Lion King. She played the part of 'Young Nala'. She was the youngest main character. |
