Lord God, I know what it is like to know You and still try to swim on my own in a raging storm. Father, help me. I feel so far from You. I don't know where You're leading me. I pray I am going in the only direction I know of - the direction of Your choosing. God, I want to make You happy and proud of me. I don't want You to look at my works and smile down on me. I need for You to look at my heart and smile on me. Nothing I do outside of Your will can ever bring You glory. Father God, draw me to You and never let me go. Lead me in Your faithfulness through the daily grind I call my life. Help me to love even more - love like I have never loved before. Lord, I lift up my prayer to You in the name of Jesus Christ. amen
