Romans 13:1-14New American Standard

Lord God, thank You for bringing me to Calvary today. I'm sorry it's always long periods between serious prayers, but here I am. God, You're awesome and You know that, but I enjoy seeing it and pointing it out when I take time to realize it. Father, You say to follow the law of the land and You used Paul to put it more simply: "Love your neighbor as yourself." And since love doesn't do things wrong, this fulfills the law. Once again it all comes down to love. You are the God of love, and therefore, the God of everything. Thank You! Father God, help me keep my heart on You and on Jess. Lord, I pray that You ease our jealous hearts. Don't let me get all riled up if she just talks to a boy. But let me still have my love for her and be zealous for her attention and love. Help me to love her parents, though I don't agree with everything they do. I love You, God. Praise be to Your Name.
