Mm, ok well the stuff I wrote below is still true up to the part where I said that I'll do a strip every week (but I'm sure you all figured that out already lol). I don't draw as much nowadays, but I still sketch some junk every now and then. I guess I can try to scan some of the less polished stuff someday...duno when tho. And oh yea, ILAAS is no more since about 2 years ago as a result of the officers not getting along and zero events happening! W00T. Ah those were the (misery) days lol. Anyway, maybe I update again sometime in teh future (still no taekwondudes tho oops).
I've always enjoyed doodling in my notebooks at school. During those english, math, and history classes, drawing has always been a hobby of mine. Unfortunately, I've always been a horrible artist. Luckily, during last year of high school I had a lot of free time during my classes (well I guess we were supposed to be working/listening or something but screw that), so I actually managed to develop my drawings to something that I can say that I'm proud I drew [is this the past tense of draw? it looks damn weird]. Chackmanga Daioh is the unofficial name of my strips (although I never told anyone). T he name and inspiration comes from a manga/anime called "Azumanga Daioh" which is some of the funniest manga I've ever read. The anime also rocks! Highly recommended to everyone!
Anyway, although the first few strips I drew had to do soley with tennis (heheh), I later started to just make strips on broader subjects. Upon moving to the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign I joined a club known as ILAAS (Illini Life for Asian American Students). There were looking for ideas to spice up thier webpage so I offered to draw for thier website. The idea took off and now I do a new strip every week for them. Anyway, I will also post the comic strips here for your viewing pleasure. There will be a new one every week(?) so check back every week ok?

although the link picture and the banner are of a taekwondudes, none of the strips have to do with tkd .........yet....... sorry
