Okay, this is a revision. After looking at the other one, I thought of ways which I could improve it. And here they are, hehe. Any more suggestions would be useful

Hello,
This is my suggestion as a style of design for the Icarus website. It is obviously a prototype, so please reply with any suggestions/requests you have for the design of the website.

Thanks

I have pasted some of my schoolwork, to show you what a lot of text would look like. :P

I am conducting an experiment to study the effects that temperature has on the rate of a chemical reaction. The substances I will be testing are sodium thiosulphate and hydrochloric acid. I will add the acid to sodium thiosulphate and several different temperatures and study how the results vary.

I am going to vary the temperature to see how this affects the rate of the reaction. I believe that as the temperature increases, the reaction will last a shorter amount of time.

The reasoning behind my prediction is that as temperature rises, particles begin to shake. The hotter it becomes, the more violently the particles shake. This results in the particles colliding and the reaction being faster. As the heat increases, the particles shake more and more violently, therefore increasing the amount of collisions and speeding up the reaction.

Other things that may affect the results are inaccurate measurements, such as the acid or the dilution of the sodium thiosulphate. If there is more/less acid, the rate of reaction will increase/decrease. The same will occur if the volume of the sodium thiosulphate is altered. This is because there would be a different amount of particles to collide, therefore altering the speed of the reaction. Also, the temperature of the surrounding environment that the experiment is performed in may also affect the speed of the reaction slightly, although this would probably make a very small difference.

Not bad, eh?
