Sailor Moon
Everything is based on the Japanese version. English translations are in
parentheses.
Sailor Moon is a story about a girl, Tsukino Usagi (Serena in the English
version), who finds out when she is fourteen that she is the chosen
warrior Sailor Moon. Her responsibilities were to find the remaining Sailor
Senshi (Sailor Scouts), the Ginzuishou (Silver Imperium Crystal or Moon
Crystal) and the Moon Princess, and protect the Earth from youmas
(monsters)

There are also many other characters who play an important role, including Chibichibi, Pegasus, the Moon cats Luna, Artemis and Diana, and the three Starlights (Kou Yaten, Kou Taiki, and Kou Seiya). Some of the bad guys included Queen Beryl, Jadeite, Kunzite, Zoisite, Nephrite, Doctor Tomoe, Kaorinite, Mistress 9, Pharoah 90, the Amazoness Quartet, Amazon Trio, and Galaxia.
Just in case you don't know, Usagi is the Moon Princess, Serenity, and Mamoru is Endymion.
