Missing You

A/N: This is just a little poem I came up with off the top of my 
head today in Study Hall. I wrote it as a submission for my school's 
literary magazine, and then decided to post it here. It's Gohan's 
POV, and takes place during the Cell Games. I think you can figure 
out the rest by yourself. Ja ne!!

I don't want to believe it. 
How could this happen?
How could you be gone?
It just happened so fast. 
You gave your life
To save mine.
But I still need you.
Mom doesn't know.
All of our friends? 
They are stunned. 
Stunned that you did it.
But in a way, they are not surprised.
You've always been noble like that. 
Willing to give your own life
To save that of a friend or family member.
If only I could be that noble. 
That brave. 
You may say I'm still a kid.
But I've grown up fast. 
Seen things most children don't.
Things most adults don't. 
But always with you by my side. 
Fighting with me every inch of the way.
But until we meet again, 
I will miss you.
