In Dreams--part 5

A/N: This will probably be the second-to-last part to this fic. It's 
finally almost done!!! Hehehe. I have had a ton of sugar today, and 
am really hyper. So this chapter may be slightly crazy.  In this part, 
you'll find out what the Shinomegami is up to. Please R&R!

The Shinomegami sat in her room, waiting. It was already nearly eleven 
o'clock. An hour before they would leave. She sighed. Finally, she 
would be able to put her plan into action. For years, she had dreamed 
of ruling a planet. After all, what's the point of being a goddess if 
no one feared or worshipped you? But she hadn't always been a goddess.
She grew up on the planet Tsukara, as a member of the royal family. 
Her name used to be Hirati Ami. (A/N: no, she is not anything like 
Mizuno Ami, aka Sailor Mercury.) On her home planet, she became a 
favorite of their gods, and when she became the queen of Tsukara, they 
granted her godhood. But her planet had been destroyed, one of the many 
that the Saiyajins had taken over, under Frieza's orders. Ami-sama and 
her family had been some of the few Tsukarajins to survive. Ami-sama, 
now using the name Shinomegami, not only wanted revenge against the 
Saiyajins and Frieza, but she wanted to be able to rule a planet.  
When she learned that the Saiyajins home planet Vegitasei was destroyed 
by Frieza, she no longer cared about that. While looking at the different 
planets in the universe, she found very few ones that she had liked to 
rule. One of the few, though, was Earth. But the only surviving Saiyajins 
lived there, so she would need help trying to take over. That's why she 
needed Son Goten and Pan, and Trunks and Bra Briefs. With them, their 
fathers, Son Goku and Gohan, and Vegita Briefs, would let her take over 
without a fight. But when the girls were rescued, she knew her plan was 
not going to work unless she did something fast. The Shinomegami looked 
at her watch. 11:43 PM. 
"Let's move." she said, talking into her intercom.

Pan was fast asleep in Bra's room. Goten and Trunks were just on the 
other side of the wall, in Trunks' room. And despite the fact that she 
was asleep, she could sense Vegita's ki outside the door. Suddenly, 
somthing woke her up. 
"Nani...?" she said, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes. Bra had awoken, 
too. 
"Pan? What's going on?" she asked, turning on the light. Vegita entered 
the room, soon followed by Trunks and Goten, each in pajamas. 
"Did something wake up you two up, too?" Goten asked, sleepily. 
"Yeah...do you know what it is, tousan?" Bra asked. 
"Iie, I don't, but I sense a familiar ki." Vegita answered. 
"Not tousan, or jiisan...Who else could it be?" Pan asked. 
"I don't know..." Trunks answered. Bulma entered the room. 
"What are you all doing up?" she asked. 
"Shut up, baka onna." Vegita said. "Something's going on."
"Don't call me 'onna'!" Bulma said, but she noticed that Vegita was 
distracted and not listening to a word she was saying. Suddenly, he 
ran out the door and left the Capsule Corp. building. Bra, Pan, Goten 
and Trunks followed after him.
"I don't know why I even bother." Bulma said, walking outside. When she 
got out there, she stopped dead in her tracks. Above where they were 
standing, a large spaceship, about the size and shape of Frieza's, was 
hovering. It landed nearby, in a clearing in the woods. A moment later, 
a group of people left the forest, most of them men. The last person 
to leave was a tall woman with long, red-gold hair and shining, purple 
eyes. Pan and Bra gasped.
"How did she find us???" Pan asked.
"I dunno." Bra said. 
"Who is that?" Bulma asked, confused. 
"The Shinomegami, as she calls herself." Vegita said. "The same person 
who took the girls." 
"What do you want?" Goten asked, as he and Trunks went to move in front 
of Pan and Bra. 
"Something I've wanted to do for a long time. To rule a planet." the 
Shinomegami replied. 
"So why Earth?" Trunks asked.
"It was the most hospitable planet I found, and there was a decent 
number of inhabitants." she replied. 
"Why do you want to rule a planet?" Bulma asked. 
"I used to known as Hirati Ami. I was the crown princess of the planet 
Tsukara, next in line to be queen and rule. The gods of Tsukara granted 
me godhood when I became the queen. However, not long after, not even a 
year, Tsukara was destroyed by a group of Saiyajins under orders from 
Frieza. I was one of the few survivors." the Shinomegami replied. 
"My home planet was destroyed, too, but I haven't taken over any other 
planets." Vegita said.
"Yes, but I know you tried to take over Earth when you first came here, 
Vegita-ouji." she said. 
"He did, but he didn't succeed. And neither will you." Goku said, as 
he landed with Gohan, Krillin, Juuhachigou, and Piccolo. 
"Who are you? Oh yes, now I know. You must be the third-class Saiyajin 
warrior known as Kakarott. Very protective of planet that's not even 
your home world, aren't you." the Shinomegami said. 
"But it's my home planet." Krillin said.
"And mine." Juuhachigou added. 
"I don't see why you think you can take over, anyway. I wasn't able to, 
so what makes you think you can?" Piccolo said. 
"The fact that I know Vegita, Goku and Gohan will do anything to get 
their children back." 
"Come on. You already saw what happens when you mess with someone in 
our families." Pan said. 
"Yeah. You get beat up. Simple as that." Bra added. 
"And there are more of us here this time, anyway." Gohan said. 
"Oh, quiet boy over there finally speaks." the Shinomegami replied. 
"I can talk plenty when I want." Gohan said. "So are you going to leave, 
or are we going to fight again?"
"We'll fight." the Shinomegami said. The group of about ten men she came 
with got ready to battle. 
"No." the Shinomegami said to them. "I'll fight them myself." She got into 
a fighting position, facing the Z senshi, who were doing the same thing. 
"You wanna fight? Okay, let's go." Goku said. He, Gohan, Vegita, Trunks 
and Goten all went SSJ.
"I'm ready." the Shinomegami said. "You can have the first move." 
"Fine. But it will be the last." Vegita replied.
