Goodbye, God
1340H 29 Nov 2001 - You'll never walk alone...

I am sad to hear that Robbie Fowler is leaving
Liverpool FC for Leeds United FC. Oh, say it isn't so! He has been the favourite son of many of the Anfield faithfuls for a good part of his 15 years with the club, having joined since he was 12. His 171 goals in 330 games remains a record there, though i think if Owen's form continues, the record may be broken. But regardless, Fowler is regarded with the utmost respect by many in the club or in love with the club. Understandably, his recent lack of games may have put him off in terms of his performances, and the rotation system now puts him at a disadvantage behind Owen and Heskey. Maybe a move will do him good.I will still stand behind him. I believe many Liverpool fans will too... He will always be a Red at heart.

God may have moved on, but he will not be forgotten at Anfield...
