| Why do you like Sirius so much? Besides the fact that I think he's a complex and amazing character, he's the one that reminds me most of myself, both mentally and how his life has been. Like a lot of people, I don't like him because I think he's hot, but because he reminds me strongly of myself. Can I use your art on my webpage? Here's the deal: first of all, the only art that's mine is the stuff labled with an SSK (my initials). I don;t mind if you use it in galleries or whatever, but I do want an email from you asking - don't hesitate to email me; I will answer, as long as you have something relevent in the subject line. Also, do not alter my images. On the other hand, the stuff without my initials belongs to someone else, so you have to find some way to get in touch with them to use it. How did you learn to draw? Trust me, I didn't take any art classes, though I wish I had. I just practiced and practiced, and even now I still need much improvement. Why don't any of the characters you draw have ears? I am such an achiever! The people I draw have ears now! Woot! I'll leave this little pic up here for the heck of it though. What's a Jarvey? You really should read Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. "The Jarvey is found in Britain, Ireland, and North America. I resembles an overgrown ferret in most respects, except for the fact that it can talk. True converation, however, is beyond the wit of the Jarvey, which tends to confine itself to short (and often rude) phrases in an almost constant stream. Jarveys live mostly below ground, where they pursue gnomes, though they will also eat moles, rats, and voles." Fortuanately, I've been able to train Rafael, my Jarvey, to speak a little better, and living with him as finally become tolerable, and I find his insults amusing (especially when directed at visitors). Do you take requests/Will you draw me a picture? Well, it never hurts to ask. Just send me an email, and if I have enough time/am bored, I might draw it for you. You haven't answered my emails - now what? Well, either you haven't been putting anything in the subject line (hey, I do get a lot of spam), or I haven't been on yet. I will try my best to answer all of the emails. You can also try signing the guestbook, but I don't check that as often as email. Just be patient. Will you link to my site? Sure, if it has anything to do with Harry Potter. Just email me a link and/or a banner. Please link to my site too :) When if this site going to be complete? First of all, not until all of the Harry Potter books have been released, but I will be working on it as long as my computer is functioning. Don't ever assume I've abondoned this site - I love it! What are your thoughts about how JKR killed Sirius? I know some people are rather angry at her 1) for killing Sirius and 2) for how he died. While I am extremely sad at his death, I do not hate JKR, and respect her as one writer to another and her rights to the lives of her characters. Trust me, I know what it's like to kill of a favourite character of my own - it's not easy, but sometimes it needs to be done. And just because Sirius didn't die glamourously, doesn't mean his death was pointless. Are you sure he's dead? Yes. I can't stand those people going around saying Sirius isn't dead for one reason or another. They're either in denial, or really stupid. JKR said he died. He fell through the veil between life and death. It is likely the curse Bellatrix *grumbles malignantly at the name* hit him with was Avada kadavra. So, as regretably and lamentable as it is, Sirius is dead. Lupin even said it. Are you a Sirius/Remus shipper? Not at all. I don't think Sirius or any of the marauders are gay (not that i'm saying there is anything wrong with gay people), I just think they are good friends. If fact, I'm not a shipper of any couples - I think that right is reserved solely for the author. Do you do art swaps? I haven't done one yet - but I'd love to try. That is, if you can stand the way I draw. |
