"United Sick Offended Laborers" (USOL). We are having
a protest at the Office of Workers Advocacy in Oak Ridge, TN, on May 16,
at 11:00 a.m. to protest the unfairness of the compensation program and
to protest the unfairness of the retirement benefits. Paul Parson,
reporter for The Oak Ridger, wrote an article dated May 7 on the upcoming
event and why we were having it. Ads will be placed in local newspapers
on Friday and Monday through Wednesday of next week. We have had
a lot of response from people all over the country saying they would help.
Hopefully, everything will be good and help the sick workers. That
is the most important part of this demonstration. I told Mr. Parson
there may be five or five thousand people at the protest.
Concerning my health problems, I have been on disability since 1995
from Y-12 Plant in Oak Ridge. Here is a list of problems:
Major Depression
Sleep Apnea (quit breathing 50 times per hour)
Lichen Planus (very rare)
Growth removed in knee
Kidney stones
Gallbladder removal
3 Heart attacks
7 Heart Bypasses--the doctor could have done more
but ran out of time.
Mini-stroke
4th Stage Prostate Cancer, which has spread to my
bones and lymph nodes all over my body.

The treatment (Lupron Shot) has stopped working. Now the cancer will
spread somewhere else. I am taking radiation treatments and was given
a radiation shot for the pain.
