Boomerang (Part II)

|
Synopsis: Boomerang Part II picks up with Harm and Bud staring at Mac and Brumby. Neither seems too happy. They walk over to where the two are laying out and Mac looks at Harm like a child with her hand stuck in the cookie jar. She talks to Bud about dinner and then asks Harm if they can get together. Harm replies snidely and tells him to call him at his hotel room. The trial gets under way and Harm has to get fitted for a wig. It's Australian tradition. Brumby gives his opening statement and the Admiral rates it an 8. Mac ups it to 8.5! After Harm's opening statement they call it even. Later that night Harm and Mac are on a ferry ride and they confront their feelings. Mac basically tells harm she's interested and he replies with ~ I can't let go ~ what kind of answer is that? Anyway, the trial continues and things heat up even more between Brumby and Harm. Outside the courthouse they start a fight, when Bud steps in between them and they break his jaw. Harm eventually gets the sailor off of the murder charges, but now he has to go back and face desertion charges. On the last night of their stay Brumby proposes to Mac and she puts the ring on her right hand saying she'll think about it. At the airport the next day everyone notices the ring and asks if congratulations are in order. She replies 'no.' The admiral tells Harm not to look back, but he does. He sees Mac lip-locked with Mic and has a sad expression on his face. |
