Justine Oshetsky Schruba is a resident of Maplewood, New Jersey.  She has taught public school music in Essex and Morris Counties for many years, conducting children's choruses and musicals.

Mrs. Schruba has a B.A. degree in Music Education from Kean University.  She has also done graduate work at Holy Names College in Oakland, California.  Mrs. Schruba earned a fourth year level certificate in the Kodaly philosophy of music education from Westminster Choir College of Rider University in Princeton, New Jersey.  In addition Mrs. Schruba has a level I certificate in the Orff philosophy of music education from New Jersey City University

Mrs. Schruba teaches piano and organ at the Calderone School of Music where she received an award for preparing a student for the Young Artists Competition.  She is a member of NJEA, and MEA.  Additionally, she was a past member of the Board of Education as well as of the Council of Christ Lutheran Church, Maplewood (now closed) and also played the organ.  Presently, she plays the organ at Grace Lutheran Church in Livingston, New Jersey.  Mrs. Schruba has also substituted as an organist in several New Jersey churches.

Mrs. Schruba was a past President and Charter Member of the Zeta Zeta Chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota at Kean University. At this time, she is the President of the Northern New Jersey Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota.
