Throughout the semester our girls post fliers around campus announcing our recruitment weeks . . .
Anyone is invited to attend a recruitment event without any kind of commitment attached. Basically these events are held in order to allow you to meet our girls and for us to learn more about you!! They are a lot of fun! Some of the events we have held in the past are Ice Cream socials, themed Events, Sledding, movie nights, Ice Skating, and many more!
If you feel like you are really interested in joining then you can come back for more events and when the girls feel they are ready they may extend you an invitation to join. (usually about 3 events).
After that there is an 8 week education period in which you learn about our heritage, our sorority, and what makes us unique. this is also a time to get to know you pledge class Which consists of all those who have been invited to join Alpha Gamma Delta for that semester. This is a great time for new member because you get to know other women who are going through the same things you are and who you otherwise may have never had the opportunity to meet!!!
After you have successfully completed these weeks the initiation process begins. You can learn much more about that durring Education!!!
